Welcome to the wind band program at the University of Massachusetts! On our website you will find information regarding our ensembles, our graduate conducting program, the Annual High School Honor Band, and our summer conducting institute. The wind band program at UMass is recognized as one of the finest in the northeast, and our ensembles, faculty, and graduate students regularly receive regional and national recognition for their professional work and performance.

On March 1, 2012 the University of Massachusetts Wind Ensemble will perform the opening concert at the Eastern Division Conference of the College Band Directors National Association at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and the Power and Class of New England, the Minuteman Marching Band, will appear at Bands of America on November 11-12, 2011. All of our ensembles have an exciting season ahead, and we sincerely hope to see you at one of our upcoming concert events!
